For the third straight year, Community Collaboration of Delaware raised funds during the Holiday Season to help local individuals and families who had fallen on hard times. CCD believes this time of the year should be the "Season of Giving", and the support this fundraiser received helped us to truly live up to that motto.
For the third straight year, Community Collaboration of Delaware raised funds during the Holiday Season to help local individuals and families who had fallen on hard times. CCD believes this time of the year should be the "Season of Giving", and the support this fundraiser received helped us to truly live up to that motto.
From Giving Tuesday through Christmas, CCD fundraised over $5000! This funding provided CCD the wonderful opportunity to donate gift cards, a washer and dryer set, funds for rent assistance, food, toys, and household goods to local families that needed a helping hand. The funds we raised also helped us send pallets of water to families in Kentucky, who were attempting to recover from the awful tornado outbreak on December 10th.
Thank you to our family and friends for ALL of the support. A special #CCDcares thank you to our friends at Phoenix Used Clothing, Forget Me Not Families, Castle Construction, and the Delaware State Trooper's Association for their collaboration and dedication to helping provide hope to families that needed it most. Working together, we have made a difference for many local families over the last four weeks. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
