In a spirited display of community camaraderie, CCD's Dodgeball Tournament took center stage at The Spirit Center on March 16th, 2024.

Community Collaboration of Delaware is committed to highlighting staff members who go above and beyond to support the local community and the people that we serve. Over the next couple of months, we plan to conduct a series of staff interviews that will provide us with a wonderful opportunity to recognize our staff for the great work they do, while introducing them to the community at large. The first interview within this series will focus on two great guys doing great things in the recovery community.

Community Collaboration of Delaware Spreads Holiday Cheer with "CCD's Holiday Hoopla 5k" Along the Delaware River

In the heart of Historic New Castle, Delaware, a collaborative effort between New Castle Public Library, Prime Time Reading and Community Collaboration of Delaware (CCD) has brought the joy of literature and humanities to families in the community.

Community Collaboration of Delawares (CCD) has successfully concluded its much-anticipated 2023 Summer Camp at Carrie Downie Elementary School. Running from July 10th to August 3rd, the camp was a hub of excitement, learning, and community collaboration, with each week bringing unique experiences and adventures for the participants.

For the week of February 7th to February 11th, Community Collaboration of DE was a primary sponsor for LITERACY LOVE, a virtual event that was hosted by one of the best youth advocates in DE, Ms. Shirelle 'Diamond' Hogans.

For the third straight year, Community Collaboration of Delaware raised funds during the Holiday Season to help local individuals and families who had fallen on hard times. CCD believes this time of the year should be the "Season of Giving", and the support this fundraiser received helped us to truly live up to that motto.

In honor of National Recycling Day, Community Collaboration of Delaware hosted the 2nd Annual Community Park Clean-up/ Toy Drive at Battery Park on Sunday November 28th with our friends from Phoenix Used Clothing, the Historic New Castle Hundred Lions Club, and the EcoAlliance Club from Charter of Wilmington High School. 

Community Collaboration of Delaware's 1st Annual "Spooktacular" Race for Recovery, a family-friendly 5K walk/run, held on Friday, 10/22/21, at St. Peter the Apostle School in New Castle, DE was a huge success!

Due to the overwhelming support received from Beanies Legacy Fundraiser, held in July of 2021, CCD was able to purchase over 300 backpacks and folders for a collaborative community school-supply drive before the start of the new school year.

Earlier today, a group of men and women from our CARE (Community Advocacy and Recovery Empowerment) Program had the opportunity to collaborate with the Trustees of New Castle Commons and volunteer at a local nature park.

This all day project allowed the time for individuals from different backgrounds to share real life experiences and talk about solutions to the drug epidemic.

CCD team successfully fundraised $3,549.79!!

Leadership at Community Collaboration of Delaware is pleased to announce that we have completed the Beau Biden Foundation's Shield of Protection® (SOP) program.

On Thursday, September 3rd, Community Collaboration of Delaware, atTAcK addiction, the Food Bank of Delaware, and Delaware Health and Social Services (DSAMH) held a free community resource event at Frawley Stadium, Wilmington DE.
